First time dining at Spumoni. Inside is super cute. It was a bit slow, but it was a Tuesday night. Our server, Alfredo, was very nice. We ate the spinach salad & chicken fettuccine Alfredo. My niece & I loved it. We will definitely be back.

Love this little gem of a place! The food is always great, I especially love the handmade pastas and gnocchi. They even have live music on Friday nights!

A hidden gem in Hermosa. Though not so hidden to those of us in the know. Now, to be completely honest, I was in the know as to where this place is, but not so to what was served inside. That knowledge didn't come into being until recently when we were fortunate enough to wedge ourselves through their doors. No, the wedging didn't come into play because we're portly, not that there's anything wrong with wearing larger sizes. It was because it's sometimes difficult to get into the packed house! Make a reservation, or do what we did, be the first ones in the door when they open. The food at Spumoni is splendid. Extremely good, and there's a lot on the menu to choose from. I got the special, pasta with slices of filet mignon in a bolognese sauce. Ooohh was that ever a pile of wonderous indulgence. It was on the pricey side, but well worth it. While enjoying your entee you'll be serenaded by an elderly gentleman who will draw you into a sense of romance. But not so much as to be annoying. Your conversation will be intact. So you can go on to discuss the important things in life like if the Dodgers are going to repeat or the price of tea in China. When the moon hits your eye, that's Spumoni. Quick Tip: Visit Spumoni on a Monday between 5pm and 6pm. Entrees are 50% off! You can get full for half !!

Came here for the first time. I'm always driving by and finally I said let's go. I love the bread they serve at the table. We ordered the Della casa pizza sooo good Angel hair pasta w tomatoes and i asked for chicken to be added but i didn't care for the chicken the pasta alone was better. Gnocchi w pesto very creamy and delicious. Garlic bread was ok i prefer the one at the table. Everyone who worked here was so nice. Our waiter was great. Had a nice dinner here I can't wait to come back and order different things on the menu and try to fit in some dessert

Good, local, unassuming, Italian restaurant. Bigger inside than you think due to the covered outdoor patio area. In the same parking lot as the soon to be gone Big Lots, parking can be a little tight if the dance company is having a recital. But, back to restaurant. Maybe because we don't go there very often, it feels very business like. Meaning they are professional in their greeting and service but not overly friendly. Not that this is required, just something I noted as I like to have some conversations with the servers to get ideas for my entree. Lots of selections on the menu and they do have some happy hour specials if you time it right. They are also (as of January 2025) part of the American Airlines Dining club so that helps me get a few more miles with my very filling meal. Speaking of filing, regardless of what you order, I am certain you will have leftovers to bring home. The last time we were there, we ordered the meatball appetizer (HH item) and each a full entree. I brought about two-thirds of my entree home and had it for two more meals at home later that week. If it's your first time, get one of their homemade pastas. I like the Strozzapreti Carbonara and, as mentioned, you'll have some for meals later in your week. My wife likes their Eggplant Parmigiana but our only complaint with this dish is that it comes with veggies and no side of pasta. I don't mind the veggies, just can't have parmigiana (veal or eggplant) without some pasta. But, we do enjoy it and I believe you will too. Take your time to carefully read over the menu and pick your soon to be favorite entree. If you are lucky enough to be there during HH, get an appetizer or two, and remember, you are doing to have extra to go. Enjoy!!!

I'm really lucky to have quite a few Italian restaurants to choose from and Spumoni offers up some unique dishes to choose from. Last time, I ordered the Cavatelli Broccoli Rabe which features italian sausage and homemade pasta. I do recommend trying one of the homemade pasta dishes - they are delicious. Of note is a few specials. First is the half off special on Mondays which gets a little crazy because people line up at the entrance before they open to get a table. It's a great deal, especially if you like to eat early. The other major special is their happy hour food and drink menu which is pretty good deal. I have three mild complaints. First, I've had dinner here enough that the Frank Sinatra music they constantly play is getting to be a bit maddening. I can't imagine working there. Second is that the pasta dishes are drenched in olive oil. It's really way too much. Third, the complementary bread rolls are served with olive oil with way too many crushed olives, rather than the more typical olive oil and vinegar at other Italian restaurant. The folks that come here tend to be mostly in their late 60s and up. If you're looking for a younger crowd, you may want to try a different place.

Came for dinner because they have a good deal. It was busier inside than we expected, but we didn't have to wait too long for anything. We got the calamari and two kinds of ravioli, and everything was pretty good. Parking is easy in the large free lot.

Came back to try the pizza and requested the pizza 'well done'. Ordered the large Della Casa pizza. The crust was perfect and had a nice crisp to it. The sauce to cheese ratio was spot on. I used the 30% coupon for take out and it came out to $20. Gotta love that. Glad I gave this place a second chance.
